“About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was ….” I watched Bella Swan muse to herself on my laptop screen. My own thoughts were not much different. I was watching “Twilight” – the movie made from the first of four books from “The Twilight Saga” series.
A seemingly impossible mix of characters from ancient times and modern where no one seems out of place. Dialogs and descriptions that Stephenie Meyer out to you to the core. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, After a long time I got to read some romantic stuff so alluring, its almost an obsession.
Stephenie tells the whole story mostly from Bella’s perspective. Her emotions, her opinions, her life. However, she also created a draft of Twilight that was the way story unfolded from Edward’s eyes (in my view, more potent than Bella’s books 
). Unfortunately it circulated on the internet without her consent. Finally she did share it on her website. You can more about the draft and the draft itself from Stephenie Meyer’s official website here.
The movie does not disappoint either. Every single character plays to perfection. From Rob and Kristine in lead roles to their parents, siblings and friends every single role is very well cast. A remember-to-blink-if-you-can entertainment!!!

after reading ur article i m so excited about this book…. i will watch movie today itself……

Great I found another women who have read the Twilight series. I was just reading Shikha’s article and Edward Cullen stuck out in recent posts. Since i read the first of the book, i seem to have fallen in love with the dangerous yet so utterly lovable “Edward” that i try to find my Edward whenever i go on a trip and i have ample time at my hands. N Bella, she is so naive yet so rock solid in her reactions toward Edward and Jacob that i always say to myself – way to go girl! Only book i felt very sad about was New Moon – where Edward was not there with Bella and i kept hoping after every chapter that he will come in the next chapter. I have the first three books – if you want a read! And i’ll be buying next in the series soon. I hope Stephine Meyer keeps writing.
Same here. It was my sister who introduced me to Edward & Bella, and the rest is history. I take my marriage vows quite seriously and my Chiran is quite like Edward in more ways than I can count, else I would also have been on the lookout for “my Edward”
One more thing I loved about Stephenie’s writing was that none of her characters was dealt with superficially. Each is a complete package and contributes significantly to move the story forward. Amazing how she does it.
